Lead by Example – Cleaning Campaign

This womens month the women of Dan Tloome Ext 1 & 2 got up & continued with the cleaning campaign which started a month ago.

They value their homes and take pride in their own envirnoment and surroundings.

These women are diverse with different skills and want to showcase some of them during the women’s day event.

“We want to lead by example” and be responsible citizens as some were trusted & nominated by community to be block committees, says one of the women.

Some women confirmed that they have started growing food in their garden, while at the same time maintaining a fresh, neat and natural environment around their properties.

These women want to show other community members that is is possible to stay in a neat space and everyone should be responsible for their own housekeeping rules.

With these cleaning campaigns, now our community looks clean👌🏾, says the elderly.

One of the women also advised that they also started doing things with their hands such as pottery, agriculture and opening spaza shop and need support amd assistance in their endevours.

All stakeholders and sponsors are requested to support these women as women led households are seen to be increasing daily.The support for such initiatives will help build confidence & local sustainable economies with women participation as the priority, says the woman who assist these women to establish business ventures.She refused to be mentioned or take a photo.
