We are pleased to invite you to participate in the upcoming Dan Tloome Healthy Lifestyle Initiative, a collaborative community event hosted by the Rand West City Local Municipality in partnership with the Ariobex Foundation and Arebueng.
This initiative is organised by the MMC Nozipho Mapena from Integrated Environmental Management and merges physical wellness with ecological responsibility through a comprehensive program featuring a fun walk, soccer matches, and a dedicated campaign to combat illegal dumping.
Key Event Details:
- Main Event: Saturday, 28 February 2026
- Build-up Cleanup Program: Friday, 21 February 2026 (Creating community “hype” and preparing the area for the main event).
Special Guest: We are honored to confirm that the Executive Mayor, William Matsheke Mathafeni, will be in attendance and actively participating in both the fun walk and the soccer games with MMC Waste, the Director of Urban Surfer (Recycling Company) Thuso Phala, Srgn Mabala, MMC Dikana District Municipality. Tshidi from Government Communications Gauteng and the Office of the Speaker of RandWest.
