The Doors Open: Official Launch of the New Taxi Rank
After much anticipation and dedicated collaboration, we are thrilled to announce the official opening of our local taxi rank on March 27th, 2026. This project is a testament to what can be achieved through steady deliberation with the taxi associations and the leadership structures of SANTACO.
A Long-Awaited Arrival
While construction on the facility was completed in 2025, the opening was delayed to ensure every technical detail was addressed to meet our safety and efficiency standards. These hurdles have been cleared, and we are ready to serve the community.

This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the cooperation of key partners, including:
- The RandfonteinTaxi and Transport Association (RTTA).
- The Randburg United Local and Long Distance Taxi Association (RULDLTA).
Join Us for the Celebration
The official ribbon-cutting ceremony will host government officials, municipal leaders, representatives from Arobex, and dignitaries from the taxi industry. We look forward to seeing this rank become a central hub for commuters across the region.
