The Property Management of Dan Tloome Mega City is pleased to share the first edition of their weekly information updates/newsletter, intended to keep communication open and transparent within the residential community. This update covers important notices, ongoing programs, maintenance projects, and developments.
🛠️ Repairs and Maintenance Have Commenced
Repairs and maintenance work on defects have officially started in some blocks, such as Block 32, and will continue in the following areas:
- Extension 7: Blocks 1-19
- Extension 6: Blocks 20-32
- Extension 5: Blocks 33-54
Please Note: A maintenance schedule will follow soon, so residents should be on the lookout for it.
Resident Cooperation Requested

Residents are kindly requested to be patient and cooperate with the workers coming to the blocks.
- Please ensure that units and areas with reported defects are made available for the required work.
- If workers find an area closed or blocked, they will move to the next area and will not return to the missed area once they complete work on that specific block.
- The workers will follow the list of repairs previously reported and recorded by management.
- Damages caused by vandalism or carelessness will not be attended to; these remain the responsibility of the concerned block residents.
- Block representatives are asked to assist in facilitating this process.
Outstanding and Historical Maintenance
The team is actively looking at outstanding maintenance matters as promised and will prioritize the most urgent and hazardous ones first, eventually addressing all unresolved maintenance issues. Residents are asked to be patient as the team works to bring the best possible service.
đźš« Prohibition of Illegal Structures
Residents are advised that illegal structures (Umkhukhu) and building extensions (such as fire escape areas extended or used as rooms/shops) are not permitted in Dan Tloome.

Management has engaged with informal traders on this matter, and formal notices of removal will be issued, especially where stalls are obstructing construction workers.
- Informal traders are asked to cooperate and engage with the Dan Tloome Development Property Manager or Social Facilitator.
- A meeting will be convened with all Dan Tloome informal traders and relevant stakeholders to address these matters constructively.
đź“… Community Facility Usage and Booking

To ensure the community hall and sports facilities remain in proper condition and avoid vandalism or conflicts, procedures for managing these facilities (including parks) have been put in place.
- To use the hall, community members and stakeholders must now send a Booking request to:
- Email: propertymanager@ariobex.co.za
- Physical Visit: The community hall for assistance
- If no one is available at the community hall, please visit the Ariobex Office admin for assistance.
